FAQs

How do you make your tinctures?

Each tincture begins with freshly harvested herbs, covered with local vodka from Myer Farm Distillers, and stored in 1/2 gallon glass jars. All fresh herbs are processed immediately after harvest. They are allowed to macerate (soak) for at least 6 weeks and up to 6 months.

How do you make your teas?

Teas are ethically wildcrafted and organically grown, processed immediately in small batches, and dehydrated at ultra-low temperatures to preserve their medicinal properties.

Who is your organic certifier?

Seven Sparrows is organically certified through NOFA-NY, LLC. (Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York)

Do you accept returns?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept product returns.

What kind of packaging do you use?

We strive to use as little plastic as possible, so we use paper tamper-evident stickers in place of the plastic shrink wrap seals most companies use on their tincture bottles.

Teas are packaged in biodegradable, chlorine-free tea bags placed in brown kraft paper bags.

Packages are shipped in:

  • recyclable, unbleached cardboard boxes

  • honeycomb paper wrap (in place of plastic bubble wrap)

  • biodegradable paper packing tape with plant-based adhesive
